Unlike electric starters which potentially create sparks and require expensive, and sometimes unreliable batteries, air starters are powered by compressed air (pneumatics) – providing a completely safe and reliable energy source while totally eliminating all possibilities of electrical ignition.

Coupled with our primary sites and workshops located in New Plymouth (Taranaki) and Auckland, we ensure the heavy plant and equipment associated with agricultural, civil industry, and production applications are performing at optimal levels. Our mobile technical teams and large industrial facilities are equipped with the latest tools and technology to enable the programmed servicing or breakdown repairs of even the largest plant and machinery.

We carry out all aspects of Access Equipment servicing requirements. As members of the EWPA, our specialist Inspection team are Level 1 & 2 CBIP Certified ensuring your Elevated Work Platform (EWP) inspections, six-monthly Certification, and major 10 yearly Re-Certifications are done to the highest mechanical and safety standards. EHL ensure your EWP's are fully operational and maintained in-line with your legal obligations in meeting and exceeding Best Practice Guidelines. We are NZ's EWP professional of choice.

Our state of the art equipment and technology, together with a widely experienced and trained team of technicians allows us to not only be your choice for hydraulic system design and maintenance, but in ensuring the robustness of your existing systems. Equipment integrity is optimised with use of our environmentally controlled clean room for work on even the most sensitive of valves, filters, and components.

We know Water Blasters! Our experienced team can recommend the appropriate Industrial or Commercial Water Blaster for your application. Custom built, application specific solutions are also available form EHL's specialist engineering design team. For all of your major Water Blaster brands and consumables - EHL are your solution.

Our team of technical specialists are Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training (BOSIET) certified. For your service, maintenance, or technical specialist requirements, EHL cover all land and sea requirements. We have years of experience in deployment to offshore and service rigs, FPSOs, commercial shipping, and other floating vessels or fixed platforms.

We can assist you in times of emergency or to cover particular projects with our diesel powered Hydraulic Power Units (HPU) for either RENTAL or supply.

EHL design, fabricate, test, and maintain HPU’s in-house or onsite to meet customers and project needs throughout New Zealand and Australia and globally with units recently deployed to the UK.
